American Sign Language for Head Start Teachers to Help with Speech Delays Caused by Covid-19

Capital Region Language Center has design special classes in American Sign Language for preschool, childcare and Head Start teachers to improve classroom communication. Many young children are struggling with speech delays as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Masks prevented children from seeing adult mouths forming words and making sounds, leading to slower language development.
